Traditional Asian cuisine

The art of steaming

Steaming is a popular way to cook food across Asia, and it's a technique that's rooted in tradition.

Because it doesn't require any fat, steaming is one of the healthiest methods of cooking. Steamed meat and fish is tender and moist, and vegetables remain brightly coloured and full of flavour. Food retains valuable nutrients which can get lost after boiling or poaching, so it's also better for you. Make steaming part of your daily Thermomix® cooking and enjoy great tasting, healthier food, without any of the hassle.
