Ingredients

Burgers

  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 100 g onions, quartered
  • 400 g beef mince, 5% fat, broken in pieces
  • 1 Tbsp tomato purée
  • ½ tsp dried chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp fine sea salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Sweet Potato Wedges

  • cooking spray, any oil
  • 3 sweet potatoes (approx. 180 g each), cut lengthways into 8 wedges
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp fine sea salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper

Assembly

  • 4 burger buns, seeded or wholemeal
  • 4 green lettuce leaves (e.g. iceberg, baby cos)
  • 2 beef tomatoes, sliced (1 cm)
  • 4 cheese slices, reduced fat
  • 1 red onion, sliced (5 mm)
  • tomato ketchup, to taste, for topping
