  • 2 vanilla pods, seeds only

Apple Purée

  • 200 g cooking apples, peeled, cored, quartered
  • 200 g Golden Delicious apples, peeled, cored, quartered
  • 10 g unsalted butter
  • 35 g caster sugar
  • ½ lemon, juice only

Crumble

  • 125 g plain flour
  • 50 g ground almonds
  • 125 g unsalted butter, soft
  • 75 g Demerara sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp fine sea salt
  • icing sugar, for dusting
