4. Cook your ingredients to perfection

For multi-level meals, place ingredients that take longer to cook into the simmering basket or the base of the Varoma dish, and place quick-cooking ingredients on the upper Varoma tray. This ensures every component of your meal finishes perfectly at the exact same time.

5. Make more servings

Maximize your recipe yields by utilizing all three levels simultaneously. By using the mixing bowl, the simmering basket, and both layers of the Varoma together, you can easily cook a complete, large-format family feast in one go.

6. Drain vegetables and pasta

The Varoma dish is large enough to double as a heavy-duty colander. Use it right in the sink to drain boiled pasta, noodles, or blanched vegetables.

7. Line the tray with wet baking paper

Keep your steamed meats incredibly succulent while protecting the flavors below. Lining the Varoma tray with baking paper captures delicious juices and prevents them from dripping into the mixing bowl. Simply scrunch and wet the paper under running water first so it easily molds to the tray. Just remember to leave a few outer vents uncovered to allow the steam to circulate freely.
