Ingredients

  • 1 carrot
  • 2 stalks of celery or substitute with 100g broccoli
  • 200g brown or red rice
  • 1200g water
  • 10g homemade ikan bilis or chicken stock powder
  • 300g salmon fillet (cut into 3cm pieces)
  • 3 tomatoes quartered
  • 10g ginger (julienned)
  • 150g shitake mushrooms (thinly sliced)
  • 1 stalk of spring onions (thinly sliced)
  • Fried shallots
  • 100g cooked fish cake (sliced) [Optional]
  • 4 leaves of Iceberg lettuce (thinly sliced) [Optional]
  • 1 egg (to be added in step 3) [Optional]
